This photo was taken by my room mate in Montego Bay, Jamaica right above our hall of residence. I didn’t like it at first, but now its grown on me. I believe this photo signifies the growth of my aspirations. Interestingly enough, the song “Start Over” by Beyonce always plays in my mind when I see this photo.

One of my favourite from the B’day Album - Love the stonefaced models who feigned playing the guitar in this video. It has a kind of eighties vibe to it. It’s inspired by Robert Palmer’s Addicted to Love. The scene involving latex rubber clothing and the ballet pointe heels are my favourite part of this video. I hope I may be able to do a photoshoot inspired by this theme. As for the song itself one must note the aggression with which the lyrics are delivered and the complementary choreography.

Absolutely looove this video, the movie was a bit of a flop BUT the choreography saved it. I’m impressed with Aguilera’s dancing skills not to mention the use of burlesque-like costumes
